Tony Siragusa attended David Brearly High School in Kenilworth N.J. His grandparents, the Vitales, donated several acres to his alma mater and Tony's father, the late Peter A. Siragusa, was an avid supporter and has his name written in gold over the high school scoreboard. He was the New Jersey state wrestling champion with a 97-1 career record and in football, played defensive line, punted and place kicked. He had a 39-yard punting average and was 15-18 on PATs.
Tony had a pet boa constrictor and a tarantula with college roommate Burt Grossman and currently owns a yellow Labrador retriever named Sambuca and a cat named Parmesan. He also rides a Harley and owns a 30-foot fishing boat in Florida to fish for Marlin and to scuba dive. Tony has a deep friendship with the members of the band "Hootie and the Blowfish" and once performed on stage with Meat Loaf during Super Bowl week in Phoenix.
Tony's need to "give back" has led him to start his own foundation, the Tony Siragusa Foundation, an organization aimed at helping underprivileged kids, and he and his two brothers helped start the American Italian Association in Kenilworth to raise funds for needy children. He also helped film a Ravens' season ticket commercial in the offseason, and participated in the Ravens' offseason caravan.
He is happily married to Kathy Siragusa, and has been since April 22, 1995 They both have a baby girl, Samantha Rose.
