Steven Stanton
The Reengineering Revolution
Steven Stanton is one of the pioneers of reengineering, and played a central role in success of Hallmark and Pepsico.
He is the co-author, with Dr. Hammer, of The Reengineering Revolution, published by HarperBusiness in March of 1995. His influence has been felt through consulting, lecturing, and teaching.
Prior to joining Hammer and Company, he was a Vice President at CSC Index, where he helped develop the techniques behind effective reengineering implementation. He led numerous engagements during his ten years at Index, working with both executive management and reengineering teams.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and in-house management programs, Mr. Stanton is known for his expertise in the pragmatic and tactical dimensions of reengineering, with a specific focus on the realities of getting results. He has published several articles on this topic and is frequently cited by national business publications.
Mr. Stanton holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from the Berkley School of Music. He has a previous career as a professional jazz musician.
Mr. Stanton specializes in large business reengineering engagements that focus on identifying and delivering significant performance improvements to clients and is the director of the Center for Reengineering Leadership.
He is an acknowledged expert in the areas of: business reengineering redesign, and designing and delivering executive education programs.
