Lanny is one of Golf's most recognized players.  He has over 25 victories and four of them are international.
Lanny Wadkins earned his major championship by winning the 1977 PGA Championship at PGA National Golf Club. He competed on eight Ryder Cup teams compiling a record of (21 1/2-11). Lanny Wadkins also captained the 1995 Team at the Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.

In 2000, Lanny won his first Senior Tour event by shooting 202 to win the ACE Group Classic. Last year in 2001, he entered 18 tournaments with his best finish as a T9 at the Rent-A-Car Match Play. He began commentating for CBS Sports in 2001.

Beyond golf, Lanny’s interests include fishing, hunting, snow skiing, and golf course design.

Lanny Wadkins won the 1970 U.S. Amateur Championship while attending Wake Forest University and now serves on the Board of Trustees at WFU!
