Dr. Stanaland is now the president of GSE. Inc., an economics and management consulting firm. For twenty years, he was a member of the Economics Department at Auburn University in Alabama, and he was the head of the department for the last eight (1972 to 1980) of those years. Dr. Stanaland received his MBA and Ph.D degrees from Auburn's rival school, the University of Alabama. His business involvements are far-reaching. Dr. Stanaland is on the board of directors of several institutions, including Computer Maintenance Professionals, Farmers National Bank and Diversified Products.
