Tune Up To Success
Freddie Ravel inspires and enchants audiences around the globe, bridging cultural gaps with music.

Born in Los Angeles with South American and European roots, Ravel began his fascination for music at age five. He went on to study jazz and classical composition at California State University Northridge where he graduated with full cum laude honors. Soon afterward, Freddie established himself as a top studio artist being acknowledged by The Hollywood Reporter as “one of L.A.’s truly great keyboardists.”

Contemporary Music audiences have made enduring radio favorites of his two popular recordings 1991’s Midnight Passion and 1996’s Sol to Soul. In this album and related seminars, Mr. Ravel collaborated with one of the world’s great leaders of mind body medicine, Deepak Chopra, M.D. Revealing the power of silence and active listening in their alliance, Dr. Chopra comments: “Freddie’s expression comes from the source of all music, the spirit which is infinite silence and infinite dynamism at the same time.”

In 2001, his third fiery and sensual Universal release, Freddie Ravel scored the #1-in-the-USA hit, Sunny Side Up which continues to dominate the airwaves.

The multi-platinum composer’s ability to masterfully blend musical styles has garnered partnerships with such top music-industry luminaries as Quincy Jones, Sergio Mendes, Tony Bennett, Bobby McFerrin and the Boston Pops. In the 1993 Earth Wind and Fire release, Millennium, Freddie produced the group’s very first Salsa, Honor the Magic. 1995 brought an invitation from Madonna to work with her on the film Evita as well as MTV appearances and a featured piano solo for her sizzling remix of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina. Five-time Grammy vocalist Al Jarreau joined with Freddie to deliver the legendary singer’s internationally acclaimed title track, Tomorrow Today.

On a very different note, Mr. Ravel’s piano arrangement of God Bless America on the Wonderful World of Disney touched millions the week following 9/11/01. Client successes continue with such notables as: AOL Time-Warner, Bell Canada, Microsoft, Panasonic, Sony, Universal, University of Southern California, Columbia Records and Disney.

Dedicated to saving lives and giving hope to underprivileged children, ANGELCARE has chosen Mr. Ravel as their spokesperson. It is in this same spirit of contribution that Tune Up to Success™ dedicates its mission of raising human potential through the metaphor of music.
