9-Time Olympic Medalist
Dara Torres broke her first world record at the young age of fourteen. Her accomplishments in track and field include her first Olympic gold medal in 1984.
As a 9-time Olympic Medalist and the first American to swim in four Olympiads including 1984, 1988, 1992, and 2000, Dara is the American Record Holder in the 50 Meter Freestyle; a feature Reporter for "PGA Tour Sunday" on USA Network; a freelance host for E! Television; 2000-2001 feature correspondent for Good Morning America; first athlete to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and the host and spokesperson for Tae-bo Workout Videotapes.
Dara will continue to have a strong presence on television as she was recently hired for the High Definition broadcast of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Dara will also continue to deliver motivational speeches, meet and greet in personal appearances and deliver endorsement services for various companies throughout the U.S.
