Dan Hampton is known as one of the greatest forces in NFL history, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002.
Hampton was named to the NFL "Team of the 80's" by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors, as well as earning four trips to the Pro Bowl during his career. He was a standout for the unforgettable 1986 Superbowl Champion Chicago Bears team, and is only the second player to play for the Bears in three consecutive decades.
Nicknamed "Danimal" for his intense playing style, this versatile gentleman also plays six different musical instruments. Although Dan has retired from the gridiron, he keeps busy as a spokesperson for companies such as Chevrolet and Firestone as well as hosting pre- and post-game shows for the Bears on WGN Radio. His football background comes in handy at Pro Football Weekly where he is a staff member and host of their weekly cable show.
