Fessler graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He served as trustee to the American Motorcycle Association and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. He also created a successful relationship between the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Harley-Davidson, a relationship that brought millions in donations to the Association.
Fessler retired from Harley-Davidson in 2002. He is currently a speaker and consultant, providing corporations/individuals with his innovative marketing strategy and his exceptional story. As well, he is Harley rider, spending time exploring the country on his many bikes.
