Butch Harmon has had a very successful career in professional golf for over thirty years. He is currently president of the Butch Harmon School of Golf, and is recognized as the leading instructor of the game.
Butch Harmon has instructed over the years the likes of Tiger Woods, Davis Love, III, Justin Leonard, Greg Norman, Steve Elkington, and Mark Calcavecchia. His instructees have garnered 68 PGA TOUR victories, 66 International victories and have combined to capture 10 Majors. Sports Illustrateds Teacher of the Year; 1995.
Leading golf analyst for British Sky Broadcasting, covering the U.S. Open, PGA Championship and TOUR Championship.Former player on the PGA TOUR, he captured the 1971 B.C. Open.
His father, Claude Harmon, was a renowned club and teaching professional and the 1948 Masters Champion.Butch has two sons, Michael and Claude. Aside from his Golf School, Butch likes to travel around the country playing in corporate and charity outings.
