Bryce Drew was responsible for sending the Valparaiso University Crusaders to the Sweet 16 of the 1997 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. While he may always be known as "The Shot" in Mississippi, he is a true leader and generally motivating individual.
"It's just amazing that we made it to the Sweet 16 and had media outlets all over America come to hear our story. I was just happy to share Christ and serve Him, but it's more important to serve Him by our actions than our words." "The shot" remains one of the most dramatic shots in NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament history and was hailed by CNN/Sports Illustrated as one of the "five most memorable athletic feats of 1998". Following his Senior year, Bryce was selected as the 16th pick in the NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Drew, 24, has long been involved in serving his Lord and Savior. He has worked in several youth camps along with giving his testimony on a regular basis.
