Brad Montgomery
Stack Your Deck for Success and Freshly Brewed Magic and Comedy
Brad Montgomery is one of the most professional corporate magicians you will ever meet. This is because he never intended on being a magician for more than a year, and his political science degree gives him unique insight for comedy.
To date, he is still waiting for the serious part of his life to begin.
He got his start performing magic table-side in restaurants. Then he progressed to performing in a Renaissance Faire, complete with pointy shoes, tights, and a horrible Olde English accent. That turned out to be a learning experience that would "hook" Brad forever. Now, after years of dues playing in comedy clubs and hundreds of colleges and universities, Brad can leave those tights at home for good.
Although his first love was magic, as he progressed his audiences laughed more and more. (He says they were laughing "with him," not "at him.") Soon his Boy-Next-Door Humor and his Off-The-Cuff Comedy were an integral part of the act.
He's performed thousands of shows for more people than you can shake a stick at. His quick fingers have fooled the sharpest West Coast eyes at the prestigious Hollywood Magic Castle. And on the East Coast he's cracked-up audiences at New York City's Mostly Magic. On the High Seas, he's a favorite on such five-star cruise ships as Crystal Symphony. And he's logged over 275 college performances. Corporate clients include Kraft, Proctor & Gamble, IBM, General Mills, Allstate Insurance, Merril Lynch and Honeywell.
In addition to his just-for-grins show Freshly Brewed Magic & Comedy and his Game Show Make Me a Deal, Brad has a motivational, high-content program entitled Stack Your Deck for Success: A magician reveals the secrets of getting what you want out of life.
Brad lives in Denver, Colorado with his attorney wife. (Brad assumed that the next best thing to being a lawyer was tricking one into marrying him.) Although he is proud of his many awards and national credits, he's convinced that his best tricks so far are his two small kids.
