1980: Named to the NFL All-Rookie Team.
1985: Named to the NFL Pro Bowl, the Pro Football Weekly All-Pro Team, the Associated Press All-Pro Team and the UPI All-NFL Team.
1986: Named to the NFL Pro Bowl and the UPI All-NFC Team.
1987: Named to the NFL Pro Bowl.
1992: Sets NFL record for most career receptions at the time (820) on nationally-televised game against the Denver Broncos.
