Sparky Anderson is best known for his success in leading the Cincinnati Reds to five division titles, four pennantts, and two World Series cups. However, this legendar baseball manager is also one of the best motivational speakers for any industry or event.
From 1979 to 1995, he was at the helm of the Detroit Tigers. Under his leadership, the Tigers won their first World Series in 1984 and took the American League East Division title in 1987.
Sparky Anderson is the only manager in history to win a World Series in both the American League and the National League and the first to win 100 games in a season in both leagues. Sparky is an ambassador for baseball and a much sought-after speaker.
A committed philanthropist, he founded the charity CATCH in 1987 to aid underprivileged children in Detroit.
