Roy Williams was the assistant coach for Team USA at the 2004 Olympics and is one of the most respected and successful coaches in the industry.

You want somebody who knows basketball, can judge talent, is a competent leader and can teach it in practice, makes good decisions in the game, is highly organized, and also is honest in recruiting.

"He's like Tiger Woods in golf - they have the whole package," Smith adds. "I don't know anyone else who does. I certainly consider him to be the best college coach in the country."

As a tough but fair person who is known for his leadership, honesty, integrity and tremendous work ethic, he is a model coach who is respected by all.
