Men the Master does it his own way. He claims not to read the poker books, and instead uses a strategy that he formulated on his own. And it’s a very successful strategy as he is one of the more consistent winners in the professional poker world. In addition to playing well himself, he coaches a small band of Vietnamese prodigies that affectionately refer to his as “The Master”. The nickname stuck and he’s known throughout the poker world as "Men The Master."
He’s a vibrant personality at the tables, always talking it up and usually with a Corona in his hand. As with most great players, most of his focus is on what cards he’s up against. He’s widely known for his uncanny ability to read other players cards.
