Dave Mirra
The "Mirra-cle" Man

Dave Mirra is not only one of the most recognizable figures in Action Sports with his own video game, pro model bike and action figure, he is also listed as one of the top ten most recognizable names in all of sports.

He has transcended BMX and become a staple in popular culture. The 31 year old BMX rider has hosted a show on MTV, presented at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, and been featured in dozens of publications including EXPN the Magazine and Rolling Stone.

Considered the greatest rider of his time, Miraa was the first person ever to land a double back flip in BMX and has won a record 20 X games gold medals. Earlier this month at X games 11, Mirra suffered a concussion in the first day of competition but persevered to win gold in both BMX vert and street. The "Mirra-cle" boy turned pro right after high school and has been dominating the world of free stule BMX ever since. In 1993, Dave proved his determination by coming back from a career threatening car accident.

On top of being a legend on the bike, Dave Mirra devotes much of his free time to charity. Dave creates scholarships with the Woodward Camp, makes dreams come true through the Dream Factory Foundation, and also hosts his own charity golf event to benefit the American Cancer Society.
